Dr. Mundt sees adult patients with sleep disorders at the Northwestern Center for Circadian and Sleep Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. She provides behavioral treatments for a variety of sleep disorders including:

  • Insomnia

  • Nightmares

  • Positive airway pressure (PAP) anxiety

  • NREM parasomnias (sleepwalking, sleep terrors confusional arousals, sleep eating, sexsomnia)

  • Narcolepsy

  • Idiopathic hypersomnia

  • Delayed sleep-wake phase disorder

Treatments provided include:

  • Cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I)

  • Imagery rehearsal therapy for nightmares (IRT)

  • Exposure, relaxation, and rescripting therapy (ERRT) for nightmares

  • Cognitive behavioral therapy for nightmares (CBT-N)

  • Cognitive behavioral therapy for hypersomnia (CBT-H)

  • Cognitive behavioral therapy and clinical hypnosis for NREM parasomnias

  • Positive airway pressure (PAP) desensitization
